Punteggio 97/100 · Da bere 2023-2038, Erin Brooks, Wine Advocate, Jul 2022

The 2019 Pinot Noir Cerise Vineyard comes from vines planted in 1998 at 800 to 1,100 feet in elevation and farmed using organically certified materials. They are in the process of conversion to biodynamic farming. Medium ruby in color, it has pure scents of cranberry, burnt orange, desiccated violet, pipe tobacco, tar and forest floor, plus wafts of potpourri. The palate is delicate and super perfumed, with caviar-like bursts of acidity, extraordinarily silky tannins and a tremendously long finish with a fan of floral and spice accents. It's a stunning wine that highlights the potential for top-quality Pinot Noir in the Anderson Valley. Only 458 cases were made.

Punteggio 95/100 · Da bere 2024-2034, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2021

The 2019 Pinot Noir Cerise Vineyard is deep, layered and super expressive. With a bit of air, the Cerise starts to flesh out, showing its breath and creaminess. Blood orange accents add brightness to a core of red cherry/plum fruit. All the elements build into a dramatic, expansive finish laced with exquisite aromatics that only become more vivid with time. In 2019 the Cerise is stellar.
