The 2019 Merlot slowly opens in the glass with a mix of peppery herbs, crushed rocks and dried blueberries. This is a soft-textured and pure style that impresses most for its lift and energy. It finishes with medium length while leaving a minty freshness.

The 2019 Merlot (76% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Sauvignon) sports a medium ruby/purple hue to go with a perfumed, spicy, complex bouquet of black cherries, redcurrants, spicy oak, and dried herbs. This medium to full-bodied, supple, elegant Merlot has rock-solid balance, velvety tannins, and an outstanding finish. It's beautifully done and can be drunk today or cellared for 10-12 years, probably longer.
Nicely spiced on the nose with notes of nutmeg and coriander sitting on top of the black fruit. Full-bodied with firm tannins and fresh acidity. Cocoa powder stands in the background to the fruit and spice. Drink now.
