Lovely lift and ripeness to the aromas of raspberry and smoky minerality. At once creamy and juicy, with intense purple fruit flavors complicated by saline minerality. The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny Village, from the usual 11 parcels, has a tightly controlled red cherry and crushed strawberry bouquet with veins of dried rose petal. The palate is crisp on the entry with grainy tannin, beautifully balanced with a poised, winsome finish and a saline aftertaste. It eschews the usual heaviness that can pervade Chambolle premier crus this vintage with a sense of precision. This comes recommended.
