Note di degustazione
A tight, dense red with berry, chocolate, currant and hints of bark. Full-bodied, yet tight and nicely framed with firm and tight, fine-grained tannins. Goes on for a long time. Fresh and attractive for a 2017. Drink or hold.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Rutherford) is another impressive wine in this range. Broad, ample and richly textured, the 2017 is fabulous. Dark red cherry, mocha, licorice, chocolate, spice and a bit of new oak all build as this sumptuous, medium to full-bodied wine opens in the glass. There's real presence and character. A dollop of Petit Verdot from Red Barn rounds out the blend.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley spent 27 months in French oak barrels, 37% new. Deep garnet-purple colored, it rolls out of the glass with notions of baked plums, boysenberries and crème de cassis with hints of sautéed herbs and tree bark. Medium-bodied, elegant and refreshing, the palate is packed with soft-textured, spicy fruit, finishing with a menthol lift. 20,200 cases were made.
