2015 Smith-Madrone Vineyards Riesling

Fermented in stainless steel. RS 6.8 g/l. 685 cases made.  Light yellow-gold. Aromas of candied lemon peel, a hint of petrol and beeswax. Bright flavours of lemon peel and lemon oil mix with orange peel and pith. Excellent acidity keeps the saliva flowing as this wine soars for a long while. There’s a stony tightness that lingers throughout the finish. Ageing beautifully. (AY)
