2021 Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant

Bottle weight 410 g. 65% Grenache, 18% Syrah, 15% Cinsault and 2% Durif picked as late as 3 November! No oak but lees ageing for 10 months. Winemaker Randall Grahm. RS 0.5 g/l. 427 stores. More engaging nose than many a southern-Rhône red. Very smooth and with attractive herbal notes and quite enough acidity and just a bit of fine tannin after a fairly complex palate.
