Note di degustazione
The honeysuckle, white currants, quince and wet rock/mineral notes of the crisp yet full-bodied, concentrated 2012 Chardonnay Vine Hill are fresh, lively, exuberant and, at the same time, powerful and elegant. This is a beauty, combining both elegance and depth. It should drink well for 5-7 years.

The 2012 Chardonnay Vine Hill Vineyard is one of the most distinctive Chardonnays in this range. A real sense of vertical structure runs through the wine, conveying an impression of vitality and energy. Orange blossom, mint, apricot pit, lemon oil, white pepper and lightly honeyed notes lead to a super-expressive finish.
The 2012 Chardonnay Vine Hill Vineyard is the most compact of the three Kistler Russian River Chardonnays. Bright, focused and taut to the core, the 2012 is laced with citrus, white flowers, crushed rocks and green pears, all in a wine endowed with superb energy and pure class. Expressive floral notes add lift on the finish. The Vine Hill is shaping up to be a real beauty.

Informazioni sul produttore

Kistler’s Chardonnays are some of the world’s most sought-after. This cult Californian producer crafts small volumes of exceptional, rich and generous, yet mineral and precise wines. With almost the entire production sold directly to their mailing list, the wines are also incredibly hard to find.
