Note di degustazione
The 2010 Fleurie Cuvée Tardive is showing beautifully, unwinding in the glass with a lovely bouquet of black cherries, smoke, rose petals and summer truffles. On the palate, it's full-bodied, deep and multidimensional, with an ample chassis of fine tannin and considerable concentration at the still-youthful core. Out of the gates, the 2010 Cuvée Tardive wasn't as lavish and dramatic as the 2009, but with almost a decade on the clock, the gap is closing: the 2010 is shedding its tannins and remains exceptionally pure and vibrant thanks to its somewhat higher acidity. This is an example of a nine-year-old Beaujolais that still possesses plenty of upside!

Bright violet color. Bright, mineral-driven aromas of black raspberry, cherry and fresh flowers. Opens with nervy red and dark berry skin flavors, then puts on weight in the glass, offering intense bitter cherry and dark berry flavors along with a touch of licorice pastille. The impressively long, smoky, gently tannic finish features sexy floral and spicecake qualities.
