2008 Brewer-Clifton Chardonnay Mount Carmel Vineyard

With just over 14% natural alcohol, the 2008 reveals fresh citrus, hazelnut and earthy characteristics in a broad, full-bodied style. While this is unquestionably a top-flight Chardonnay, in an astonishing vertical flight such as this, it did not jump out as one of the superstars. Nevertheless, it should drink nicely for another decade or more.
