The 2015 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru La Bossière from Harmand-Geoffroy is the brightest, leanest wine in the cellar, offering up a high-toned bouquet of raspberry and cranberry, and a taut, chalky palate impression built around a bright spine of acidity. This premier cru, a monopole of the domaine, may once have been planted to white varieties, and one can see why.
