Note di degustazione
More evolved crimson than the 2016. Damp fur, exaggerated nose. Quite curranty and unappetising with the fruit and acidity unintegrated on the palate. Definitely not my style. More freshness of fruit please! (JR)

Tasted blind. Lustrous blackish crimson. Light, sleek, rather ‘worked’ (to good effect) nose. A bit tight on the end but good fresh fruit. Hint of macerated sawdust on the end. (JR)
The 2015 Faugères is plush, deep and inviting. Succulent red cherry, plum, tobacco, cedar, licorice and new leather are some of the many nuances that take shape, and attractive floral notes add brightness and lift. This is a very pretty and alluring Saint-Émilion from Silvio Denz. The blend is 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasted two times.
