I am also delighted to say that in addition to practicing a severe crop thinning in 1990, the domaine bottled their wines naturally with no filtration. The Nuits St.-Georges-Les Meurgers offers up a chocolate, smoky, anise-scented nose, deep, rich, lovely flavors, medium to full body, and a 1985-ish personality in its precociousness and low acid, fleshy finish.
