2022 Alfred Merkelbach Kinheimer Rosenberg Riesling Kabinett

The 2022 Kinheimer Rosenberg Riesling Kabinett is deep but refined and fresh on the nose, whereas the fruit is fully ripe and rather baroque in its generous aromas. Round and textured on the palate, this is a lush and elegant, persistently saline and finely structured Kabinett with a long, tight and mineral finish. The acidity is finely grained and crystalline and wonderfully vivid. 9% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in November 2023.
