The 2020 Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Auslese offers a clear and intense nose with concentrated yellow-fleshed tropical and citrus fruit aromas. Sweet and dense on the palate, this is a savory yet somewhat oily-textured Auslese that is pretty rich yet still too heady to stimulate. The finish is savory again, and its salinity gives hope for good development over the years in the bottle. 8% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted from AP 2 21 in September 2022.
