Note di degustazione
Tasted blind. Light and restrained on the nose. Grassy, even a touch steely. Very crisp, mouth-watering, bone dry, lightish on the mid palate, a bit lean. (JH)

The 2020 La Tour-Martillac has a delightfully complex bouquet with blackberry, bilberry, damp loamy soil and cedar. Fresh, vibrant, the palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. Touches of sea salt and black olive emerge toward the finish. Excellent. Tasted blind at the annual Southwold tasting.
Complex aromas of cherries, raspberries, rose petals, bay leaf and spices introduce the 2020 Latour Martillac, a medium to full-bodied, fleshy, lively wine with good depth and excellent balance. It represents an improvement on the 2019.
