Note di degustazione
Bright violet. Highly perfumed blackberry, cherry liqueur and licorice pastille aromas, along with hints of black tea and musky earth. Sweet and broad on the palate, offering sappy dark fruit, floral pastille and succulent herb flavors that become livelier as the wine opens up. Balances richness and power with a deft hand and finishes very long and lively, with gentle tannins coming in late.

Louis Boillot told me that the 2015 Moulin-à-Vent les Rouchaux was picked early to preserve the freshness. It has a crisp redcurrant and red cherry nose, backward at first but perhaps showing more Beaujolais character than the Moulin-à-Vent Vieilles Vignes at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, vivid blueberry and red cherry fruit with fine depth on the finish. This should turn into a delicious Moulin-à-Vent with a Côte d'Or bent.
