2012 Trisaetum Pinot Noir Ribbon Ridge Estate

Bright ruby. Vibrant aromas of red berries, cherry, sassafras and floral pastille, with subtle vanilla and woodsmoke accents adding complexity. Silky, sweet and expansive, offering concentrated black raspberry and anise flavors braced by tangy acidity and a peppery spice note. Shows very good depth but comes off as energetic, finishing with excellent clarity and late-arriving tannins.
