Note di degustazione
Ripe black and blue fruits, leafy herbs, truffly earth, and some spice notes all emerge from the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, a charming, medium to full-bodied, round, plump 2021 that has lots of upfront charm and character. A blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Malbec, and 12% Merlot from a mix of vineyards in the Walla Walla Valley, aged 22 months in 50% new oak, it should have a solid decade or more of prime drinking. There were 1,230 cases produced.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Walla Walla Valley opens with a mentholated freshness, giving way to black currant, savory herbs and hints of dark chocolate. This flows across the palate with silky textures and masses of dark red fruit, closing with a bitter tinge. A wall of drying tannin emerges through the finish, counterbalanced by vibrant acidity. The 2021 tapers off structured and long.
