Opaque ruby. Smoky, mineral-accented black and blue fruit qualities on the nose, complicated by olive, smoked meat and floral nuances that build in the glass. Supple and weighty in the mouth, offering juicy blackberry and boysenberry flavors that become sweeter and livelier with air. The floral note recurs on the spice- and mineral-laced finish, which shows strong persistence and fine-grained, harmonious tannins.
