Note di degustazione
Blackish ruby. Exciting energy on the nose with masses of ripe fruit. Edge of acidity and freshness. Solid stuff! Still lots of tannin. Robust. Long. Promising. (JR)

Tasted blind at the Burgundy 2011 horizontal tasting in Beaune. There is a sense of everything being in its right place on the nose of Thibault’s Nuits Saint Georges 1er Cru Les Saint Georges: conservative and linear, but well defined and fresh. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins and a fine thread of acidity. Lively and ebullient, focused and taut, this is a lovely, quite sophisticated Nuits Saint Georges. Excellent.
Good full red. Complex, inviting aromas of red cherry, flowers, spices and pungent minerals. Rich, bright and dry; more mouthfilling than the Clos-Vougeot but still youthfully folded in on itself. Lovely density and purity of spicy fruit here, with the energy and spine to age. I'd give this six or seven years in the cellar. Terrific potential.
Quite rich and rewarding. Lots of tension and life. Bravo! Good balance. (JR)
