The 2022 Cote Rotie La Landonne, another brilliant wine from this estate, reveals a more inky, sanguine character compared to its peers, evoking aromas of coniferous forest, bay leaf, ripe dark wild berries and lovely notes of violets. Medium to full-bodied, dense and deep, it's framed by structured tannins and has a long, powerful core of fruit elevated by vibrant acidity that gives it a distinctive vertical lift. Traditionally the most austere in Jamet’s lineup, this vintage of La Landonne, still aging in barrels, will benefit from at least a decade in the cellar to fully integrate and mellow, rewarding those who wait with a more harmonious experience.
