2022 Wittmann Westhofener Morstein Riesling Trocken Alte Reben La Borne Auction AP 24

From the Gewann "Am oberen Brunnenhäuschen" inside the Morstein (and two plots above the Morstein GG core parcels), the 2022 Riesling Alte Reben La Borne opens with an enormously chalky, refined and elegant bouquet of perfectly ripe and polished Riesling aromas. Juicy, refined and with delicate tannins, this is a round, saline and finely tannic Riesling with some rich sweetness now. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2023.
