2020 Little Giant Lamonica Cabernet Sauvignon

From a Silverado Trail site planted to Clone 337 just south of the Stags Leap District, the 2020 Little Giant Cabernet Sauvignon Lamonica is a reasonably priced Napa Cabernet from a vintage that holds a few surprises. Scents of earth and oak lead the way, but there are also layers of black cherries and brambly fruit. It's medium to full-bodied, supple and silky on the palate, then finishes with ample length and a touch of warmth. Drink it on the young side.
