2021 Intrada Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc with 3% Sémillon. Spends 10 months on the lees with weekly stirring. The Sémillon was aged in neutral French oak. The Sauvignon Blanc was aged in a combination of 62% concrete egg, 18% neutral French oak and 20% stainless steel. Aromas of green apple, white flowers and wet pavement. Juicy green-apple and white-floral flavours have a faint aromatic sweetness to them even as chalky, bright acidity makes for a mouth-watering finish. Candied green apple and a hint of Cape gooseberry linger in the finish. (AY)
