(from the Star Vineyard, owned by the Reg Oliver family and farmed by David Abreu): Bright medium straw. Musky aromas of hazelnut and nutmeg, with notes of tropical fruits and white chocolate emerging with air. Broad but a bit diffuse, with primary fruits currently hidden by licorice and brown spices. The slightly aggressive finish shows a faint bitter edge.
