Note di degustazione
Medium red. Sweet red fruits complicated by menthol and licorice on the nose. Lush, broad and sweet in the middle palate, then a bit more taut on the back half, finishing with dusty tannins and lingering red fruits. With limited mineral and floral lift, though, this lacks a hidden dimension.

Bottled, unusually, early November 2008. They harvested from 29 August to 16 September – it took three weeks for 6.5 ha...! Mossy nose. Clean, fresh fruit – quite severe and straight on the back palate. Still quite simple. (JR)
A slightly riper mix of red and blue pinot fruit aromas are trimmed in a bit of wood spice and subtle warm earth notes that also suffuse the somewhat more concentrated and deeper middle weight flavors that are supple, forward and approachable and coat the mouth on the balanced and nicely persistent finish. This is also on the light side but there is better compensating depth and length here. Allen Meadows, Burghound, Jan 01, 2009
