A big, rich wine, the 2009 Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Minéral brings together the radiance and intensity of the vintage, with the freshness that is so typical of the Agrapart Champagnes. Today, the 2009 looks like it will also offer readers quite a bit more early gratification than is often the case. Almonds, pears, spices, mint and dried flowers are some of the notes that are laced into the finish. The Minéral emerges from old-vine parcels in the Champboutons and Les Bionnes lieux-dits. Dosage is 5 grams/liter. Disgorged: June 2015.
