The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Her Majesty's Secret Service is fabulous. Rich and savory, the 2017 opens with expressive iron, cedar and earthy notes. The 2017 captures all of the savory intensity Atlas Peak is known for, with superb fruit depth that keeps the tannins from being overly aggressive. The 2017 finishes with real density and class, but it will need time to be at its best. This is impressive juice. The fruit was picked on October 7th, the Saturday before the first fire.

Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the deep garnet-purple colored 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Her Majesty's Secret Service Stagecoach Vineyard bounds boldly out of the glass with notes of warm cassis, Black Forest cake and mulberries plus hints of licorice, tilled soil, wild sage and tapenade. The medium to full-bodied palate has a generous amount of mid-palate fruit with firm grainy tannins and lovely freshness, finishing long and savory. 96 cases were made.
