The 2019 Ockfener Bockstein Spätlese (White Capsule) opens with an intense, ripe and aromatic tropical fruit aroma intertwined with flinty slate aromas. On the palate, this is a full-bodied and mouth-filling, piquant and crunchy, finely tannic, sustainable and salty dry Riesling with grip and lush fruit on the long finish. Excellent. 11% alcohol. Tasted in May 2021.
