Note di degustazione
One of the lighter colored releases in the lineup is the 2015 Pinot Noir San Saba Vineyard which is from a site in Monterey County. Light strawberries, cherries, rose petals and sous bois notes all emerge from this elegant, seamless, detailed Pinot Noir that has beautiful purity, a weightless, elegant texture, integrated acidity and a great finish. It's another gorgeous, undeniably Burgundian styled Pinot Noir from this estate that's putting out some sensational Pinot Noirs.

Pale to medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir San Saba Vineyard is delicately scented of cranberries, pomegranate and rhubarb with touches of sautéed herbs and forest floor. Medium-bodied, focused and firmly built, the chewy tannins frame the earthy flavors nicely and it finishes with an herbal lift.
Brilliant red. Aromas of dried cherry, blackberry, rose oil and musky underbrush, joined by slowly emerging woodsmoke and vanilla accents. Silky and energetic in the mouth, offering bitter cherry, dark berry and mocha flavors that tighten up and become spicier on the back half. Shows a youthfully structured character and finishes with solid grip and strong, smoky persistence.
