2021 Bernoota

The 2021 Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon Lake Breeze Bernoota shows good approachability to start with its ripe and fleshy layers of plum compote and cocoa with a gentle spicy/eucalyptus lift supported by a hearty dose of oak. The palate steps up a gear with ripe berry fruit supplemented by granite, cola fire and smoky nuances that add attractive savory appeal. Drying but open-knit tannins draw out the finish and provide some aging potential, but it is, without doubt, already drinking well. Great value
