Note di degustazione
80% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier. Base 2014 plus 2013 reserves. Aged for 30 months on lees in bottle and then a further 12 months after disgorgement in 2017. Dosage 5 g/l. Tasted blind. Deep apricot pink. Interesting, intriguing nose with a little suggestion of oak. Pretty frothy but a bone-dry finish after some pretty smart, complex fruit. Lightly bitter on the end. (JR)

Based on the 2014 vintage and disgorged three years ago with five grams dosage after 36 months on the lees, the NV Brut Rosé is a blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier. Wafting from the glass with notes of crisp orchard fruit, raspberries, pomelo, rhubarb and white flowers, it's medium to full-bodied, pillowy and precise, with an elegantly fleshy core of fruit, bright acids and a chalky finish. Showing even better than when I reviewed an older disgorgement of the same blend last year, this is one of the finest English Sparkling wines on the market today.
80% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier, based on 2014 vintage. Pretty salmon pink, red fruits are backed up by fresh red-apple aromas. A nice weighty mouthfeel, backed up by nice zesty freshness and good development, fine mousse and good clean finish. Attractive if not hugely complex. (AC)
Hampshire. 65% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Meunier. Partridge-eye pale. Clean tight bright citrus. Finely fragrant. Really dry and streamlined, delicate but long. Elegant. (JH)
