2011 David & Nadia Grenache

The 2011 Grenache Noir is blended with 5% Syrah. The Grenache from Paadeburg is organically farmed. It is a little smudged on the nose while the palate is missing a little depth and volume, a saline touch right on the finish. This does not work as well as the white blends from David Sadie, but I have no doubt forthcoming vintages will be better. Drink now. David Sadie (no relation to Eben) grew up in Swartland and 2010 marked his inaugural vintage, the wines made with his wife Nadia. No known US importer.
