Grown 5.4 miles from the Pacific Ocean. SIP-certified sustainable . Smells of blackberry and blueberry fruit tinged with oak. Flavours of oak dominate a core of blue and black fruits, leaving a brown-sugar and mocha note in the finish. Good acidity and powdery, supple tannins. Just too much wood here, and perhaps a bit too ripe. (AY)
