Expressing freshness with juicy, dusty blackberry and hints of dark cherry compote, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon unfolds with layers of earth, fruit and wood. It is medium to full-bodied and has a firm palate, making it food friendly and ready for action. The Cabernet concludes with a spicy herbal finish, complemented by a kiss of graphite on the aftertaste. The wine rested in 55% new French oak. Give it a try. Just over 20,000 bottles were filled.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is understated as musky black currants and peppery floral tones lift from the glass with coaxing. This washes across the palate with cool-toned red and black fruits supported by brisk acidity. It leaves a web of fine tannins that clench the style through the finale, leaving nuances of red currant and cooling herbal tones to linger.
The inky hued 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is based on 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 6% Malbec, and the rest Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc, aged in 55% new French oak. Rocking levels of cassis, graphite, tobacco, and scorched earth-like notes emerge from this Graves look-alike, and it's full-bodied, rich, concentrated, and structured, with building yet beautifully ripe tannins. It's another remarkable Cabernet from this team that warrants 4-5 years of bottle age and will be long-lived.
