Note di degustazione
The 2013 Criots-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru has a lucid hue with green tints. There is a slight peppermint scent intertwined with lemon thyme and citrus fruit. Vibrant on the palate, tangy with hints of lime cordial, you have to admire the elegance and purity of this wine, probably reaching its apogée now. Yet I cannot envisage any decline in the near future. Tasted at Bistro de l'Hôtel.

Sexy aromas of almond flower and honey. At once rich and penetrating, with a flavor of peach oil enlivened by powerful minerality. Wonderfully balanced wine in a serious, distinctly masculine vein.
The 2013 Criots Batard Montrachet Grand Cru has a detailed limestone and flint-scented bouquet that is very direct and focused–no messing about here. The palate is vibrant and energetic with hints of mandarin and grapefruit segueing into quite weighty and sustained finish. I fancy that this will gain considerable weight throughout its barrel maturation. This is a super Criots '13 that will age with style.
