Co-fermented with 3% Viognier, the 2019 Syrah Les Collines is red-fruited on the fresh, succulent nose with a softly spicy and herbal element that sways with dusty florals and red plum skin. Medium-bodied, the wine has a delightful mineral tension, a balanced structure, lively acidity and a fresh, tannic edge. The wine continues to reveal layers of complexity before ending with a food-friendly, mineral-driven, spicy and savory finish. Bravo!
