The 2022 Syrah Soberanes Vineyard is fabulous. It shows a more red-toned fruit profile than the Sierra Mar, along with hints of blood orange, sage, mint, rose petal and dried herbs. Floral and racy, with gorgeous fruit purity, the Soberanes Syrah is one of the highlights in this range.

Boasting an opaque purple color, the 2022 Syrah Sierra Mar Vineyard is entirely composed of Syrah with 18% whole clusters added in the fermentation and offers fantastic aromatics of lavender, blackberries, just a hint of cured meat, and toasted black pepper. Savory and elegant, it’s full-bodied with a weightless feel and really harkens to Northern Rhône in all its components, with great length and notes of pure olive on the finish. This really hits a lot of marks in my book, and I would be thrilled to have this in my cellar. Drink 2025-2040.
