Note di degustazione
The 2007 Pinot Noir Estate features darker fruits. Aromas of sandalwood, incense, spice box, black cherry, and black raspberry lead to an elegant, medium-bodied wine with plenty of savory fruit, light tannin, and a medium-long, fruity finish. It will continue to blossom for another 1-2 years but can be enjoyed now through 2017. Veteran vigneron Patricia (Patty) Green was the original winemaker at Torii Mor before purchasing the old Autumn Wind Winery in 2000 along with partner Jim Anderson and renaming it Patricia Green Cellars. Current production stands at 10,000 cases with distribution in 20 states. All of the Patricia Green wines are fermented naturally, see about one-third new oak, and only Cadus barrels are used in the cellar. The wines are discussed in the order in which they were presented at the winery in July, 2009. Tel. (503) 554-0821; www.patriciagreencellars.com

Medium red. Cherry, flowers and earth on the nose. Youthfully subdued red berry and cherry flavors are firmed by dusty tannins and pick up a gentle spiciness with air. Bitter cherry skin and anise qualities define the finish, which is a touch clenched right now.
