The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Vogelzang Vineyard is a very typical Happy Canyon Cabernet. Expressive savory and earthy notes wrap around a core of blueish fruit. Medium in body and super-expressive, the 2017 has much to offer. The tannins could use a bit of time to soften, but there is plenty of pleasure to be had here.
