(bottled in April) Pale color. Reduced nose hints at underripe peach and lemon. Then pure, floral and citrussy in the mouth, with a distinct minerality contributing to the wine's slightly dry-edged impression. Or is this still recovering from the recent bottling? Very lemony and floral on the finish.
(this was the earliest wine to go through malo) Very pure, perfumed aromas of peach and white flowers. Juicy and taut, with sharply delineated flavors of peach, lemon, flowers and minerals. Lovely harmonious acidity extends the wine's finish. The first of these wines to show "the real final balance" of 2004, notes Morey.
