Punteggio 15.5/20 · Da bere 2017-2019, Jancis Robinson MW, Feb 2019

Very Sauvignon but a bit dilute. Great varietal lesson but I'd like a bit more fruit (JR)

The 2015 Grand Village (Lafleur) is brilliant stuff and almost everything this team touches is gold. Rocking notes of kirsch, raspberries, flowers, and ample gravelly minerality all emerge from this full-bodied 2015 that has fruits, charm, and sheer sexiness of the vintage front and center, while still showing the hallmark elegance of the estate.

The 2015 Grand Village is deep garnet-purple in color with a nose of warm plums, black forest cake and spice box with notions of anise and tilled soil. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and chewy with nice freshness and plenty of juicy/earth-laced fruit to pave the long finish.
