2022 Domaine Garnier et Fils Chablis grand cru Vaudésir

The 2022 Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru has a similar bouquet to the Billaud-Simon, more neutral in style. There's a little more wood influence, but it is simpatico with the fruit. The palate is fresh on the entry with citrus peel, nectarine and light peachy notes, gradually building to a very controlled but focused finish. Not the best Vaudésir this vintage but worthy of this Grand Cru vineyard. Tasted blind at the BIVB tasting in Chablis.
