Note di degustazione
Very pale crimson. Particularly light nose. Then the trademark explosion of fruit on the palate. Sweeter than most. Like a firework in the mouth. Perhaps not the most classic burgundy but few could resist its charm. (JR)

The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuesselottes, matured in 50% new oak from two barrels, felt a little simplistic on the nose given the propitious nature of the vineyard. I would like to see more nuance and terroir expression by the time that this is in bottle. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red berry fruit. There is fine body and substance, though the new oak just shaves away some of the detail towards the finish.
(from rented 60-year-old vines): Bright, dark red. Alluring scents of raspberry, spices and flowers. Concentrated and creamy on the palate, showing lovely sweetness and energy to the red berry and spice flavors. Finishes with serious tannic clout and lingering notes of spices and menthol. This wine has the spicy depth and structure to age gracefully.
