Entirely crafted from destemmed Syrah, the 2022 IGP Collines Rhodaniennes Sainte-Agathe Syrah unfurls from the glass with notes of spices, litchi, rose and chocolate mingled with gentle peppery hints. Moderately weighted and wonderfully juicy, it's round and well-balanced with a tense mid-palate, concluding with a fresh, round, elegant finish. Gourmand and well-crafted, it was matured for one year in used large barrels.

A legendary name, Domaine Georges Vernay crafts some of the finest whites in the world, having championed Condrieu when it was on the brink of extinction. The estate is best known for its single-site Coteau de Vernon Condrieu and is now in the hands of the third and fourth generation of the family.
