2006 Château Grand Tayac

70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc. Cork. RS <2 g/l Polished and smooth in an attractive Margaux kind of way, but extremely drying on the finish. A little bit austere, though presumably that would be mitigated by the right food? (JR)
