Note di degustazione
This estate turned out a solid 2020 Crozes-Hermitage Grand Classique that has a medium-bodied, supple, up-front style. Offering up both red and black fruits, subtle flower and pepper, moderate mid-palate depth, and fine tannins, drink bottles over the coming 4-6 years.

Deep magenta. High-pitched aromas of fresh red and dark berries, violet, smoky minerals and cracked pepper, with a hint of smoky bacon in the background. Juicy and nicely concentrated, offering penetrating black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that flesh out slowly with aeration. Shows sharp focus and very good persistence on the spicy finish, which is framed by smooth, even tannins.
90% Marsanne, 10% Roussanne. Apple-skin aroma and flavour with a grassy edge. Sweet and sour with a bitter edge, the acidity sticking out. Dry finish. (JL)
100% Syrah. Cask sample. Subdued dark fruit and spice. Shows depth and structure. Ripe but fresh with a firm grain of tannin. Slightly more serious in style. Worth waiting a while. (JL)
