Note di degustazione
The 2010 Domaine de l’Alliance has a fragrant bouquet of acacia, honey, quince and saffron, all delivered with impressive delineation and focus. The palate is very pure and viscous, the acidity wonderfully judged and it leads to a gorgeous botrytis-rich finish that is elegant yet intense. Bon vin . Tasted blind at Farr Vintners 10-Year On Bordeaux horizontal.

Pale to medium lemon-gold colored, the 2010 Domaine de l'Alliance rolls out of the glass with compelling honeyed peaches, spiced apples and tangerine peel notes followed by hints of baked pineapple, cedar, nutmeg and marmalade. Full-on exotic, the palate delivers mouth-coating tropical fruits and a silken texture, finishing with fantastic freshness and tension.
Tasted blind. Smoky, spicy and fresh. Intense bitter-orange and apricot on the nose and palate. I love the way the intensity is balanced by freshness here. Not subtle but delicious and long. (JH)
First bottle TCA. Darker coppery colour than many. Something a little beery about this. Thick and unctuous in texture but as though the selection was not the most rigorous. Medium sweetness. Finishes drier than many. (JR)
