Note di degustazione
Pale to medium ruby-purple, the 2015 Lazy River Vineyard Pinot Noir opens with a touch of rubbery reduction giving way to black fruits and forest floor aromas. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is much more giving than the nose, packed with warm black fruits and spice, framed with grainy tannins and plenty of juicy acidity, finishing long. I hope that reduction resolves, because this wine could be good. 237 cases produced.

Deep bright-hued red. Expansive, mineral-tinged cherry and raspberry liqueur scents, along with hints of candied flowers and Asian spices that build in the background. Silky and broad on entry and then more taut in the midpalate, offering appealingly sweet red fruit, spicecake and rose pastille flavors that show excellent clarity and lift. Smooth tannins frame the finish, which hangs on with strong, floral-driven tenacity.
