A new wine from Angela based on 55% Graciano and 45% Grenache, the 2016 Luke comes from two vineyards in northern part of California, Shake Ridge and Provisor. Tart black cherries, currants, blueberries, crushed rocks and peppery herbs all dominate the nose. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, bright and racy, with plenty of sweet fruit, a light, elegant texture and a good finish. It's another beautiful wine from Angela that blossoms with air. Drink it over the coming 5-7 years.

The 2016 Luke is a blend of Graciano and Grenache that Angela Osborne dedicated to her late-father. Expressive and beautifully layered in the glass, the 2016 is a gorgeous wine. Floral overtones lift the red and purplish berry fruit in a delicate, nuanced wine that brings out the best in Osborne's very personal style. It would be nice to see her make this wine more often, as it is one of her best.
